In the aftermath of Sokar's death, Apophis later took control of the world, and thereby Sokar's remaining forces, ruling there until his own death in 2001. Apophis was killed when a Ha'tak filled with Replicators, which he was aboard, crashed into the planet after SG-1 sabotaged the vessel's sublight drives. Much of the planet was probably devastated.
