Back in May 2008, Onimusha was Capcom's 5th biggest franchise, behind Resident Evil, Mega Man, Street Fighter and the Devil May Cry. The series has sold 7.8 million copies to date. A more recent game, titled Onimusha Soul, was developed for mobile phones.
