Tom & Jerry: Justice Friends! is a 2000 adaptation of Tom & Jerry. The series aired for 3 seasons and 36 episodes. The series aired on Cartoon Network and received good ratings before the death of William Hanna during the show's 2nd season. The ratings went down quickly and the series was cancelled when Joseph Barbera departed from the series following the death of his partner in 2002. The series ended with two 10 minute segments (unlike the usual three 7 minutes) which aired on December 18, 2004. The series was set to return in 2010 for another season but the series never returned due to unknown reasons.
