Narran is an Aberdeenian expert. He is in a committed relationship with one of the Runners, and was with them when they fled Aberdeen. Narran is an easygoing man, bordering on lazy. He lacks the attention to detail and motivation to be a truly great smith, but he has the patience to get any job done eventually. Narran is friends with Perrit, and was a more experienced smith, but less skillful. When Perrit overtook him while working on the runeforge, Narran became his assistant.
