Zeiss finds someone who can repair his lenses, while the GCPD face off against the FBI over the alien which has been granted sanctuary by Gotham cathedral. Batman leaves Batgirl to watch over the cathedral situation while he goes on patrol. Zeiss, meanwhile, receives his mended lenses froma courier called Pete, whom he kills, believing him to be a man who trades in information. Later in the night, Commissioner Akins calls Batman in because his men have been ordered to stand down at the cathedral: the FBI and/or DEO must be planning to act soon.
