Anya Veil was a Twi'lek Jedi Master who took Jax Ion as her Padawan a number of years before the outbreak of the Clone Wars. She was one of the many Jedi to lose her life in the opening battle of the war. Jax would go on to teach his own apprentice, Vin Garth, using many of the lessons that Anya had used to teach him.
