Dooku was a male Human and Sith Lord, an apprentice of Darth Sidious. He founded of the System of Independent Confederates shortly before the Clone Wars, at the request of the Trade Federation, to challenge the Republic for their intervention in a peace treaty with Naboo. Dooku was also known as a smashball player, and became famous for his unique scoring technique. Playing for the Corellian Dreadnaughts, Dooku came to fame first by leaving the Jedi Order, leaving behind his apprentice Qui-Gon Jinn, to play smashball and then by using his abilities to trick and outmaneuver his opponents.
