Bajoran music was a musical style particular to Bajorans. In 2370, Doctor Julian Bashir began listening to this music. Bashir believed Tor Jolan was the best of the composers. Generally, he felt Tor's music was, "Slightly derivative of the Boldaric masters of the last century but pleasantly diverting." (DS9: "Crossover") In 2371, Lwaxana Troi expressed how much she loved this music to Odo. She described it as intelligent and vital, which were traits that reminded her of Odo. (DS9: "Fascination")
