A smurferator is a device that Handy had built that supplies oxygen. In the cartoon show episode "Handy's Sweetheart", it is attached to two tubs of water that the Smurfs put Marina and her father King Aquarius into when they asked for their help in getting the lilyroot from the Pool of Avalon in order to cure Marina's father. Later on in the story, it is also attached to Handy's deep-sea diving suit in a form that lets him constantly supply oxygen for himself while he travels with Marina to the undersea world of Atlantica.
