The Akutoku were a unique species and organization bound to a Fallen Soul King that came to represent an aspect that they each personify, working towards the resurrection of their King ever since their resistance against the Soul King was bested and they were sealed, they first appear in the epilogue of True Wish and are set as the main antagonists of the True Wish sequel.
