The New Thallonian Protectorate was an interstellar government formed circa 2377 in Sector 221-G, the location of the former Thallonian Empire, bordering Federation Space between Deep Space 5 and the Romulan Neutral Zone. Unlike its predecessor, the Protectorate was a representative democracy designed to provide stability to the Empire's former client worlds.
