Some rewards that come in the form of objects can be sold for Simoleons. Base game reward objects are worth 1/5 of the lifetime happiness. I.e. a Food Replicator that costs 50,000 points can be sold for §10,000. Reward objects from various expansion packs aren't bound to this. Some of them are worth less, and some other are valueless.
