A Cruise Disruptor is a missile that causes little to no hull or shield damage, but disrupts the cruise engine of a ship to reduce it to normal speeds. Cruise Disruptors are fired from special launchers that fit in a Cruise Disruptor slot on a ship; these slots can also be used on certain ships to mount Torpedo Launchers.
