The EMW Universal Championship was the top title of the defunct Wired brand of the Extreme Madness Wrestling fantasy wrestling promotion back in 2008. The first championship was determined in tournament format. Bud Bundy defeated Al Bundy in the finals of the tournament to become the first champion on March 22, 2008 at Gold Quest. The last champion was Blade who defeated Terrell Owens to unify the EMW World Heavyweight and Universal Championships on June 22, 2008 at Extreme Homecoming. The title was deactivated after Extreme Homecoming.
