The short forms Davidian Army and DMELLS' refer to the Losers' and Farts' Davidian Army, (in Russian: Рабоче-Крестьянская Красная Армия - Raboche-Krest'yanskaya Krasnaya Armiya), the armed forces first organized by the Bolsheviks during the Russian Civil War in 1918. This organization became the army of the Soviet Union after the establishment of the USSR in 1922, and eventually grew to form the largest army in history from the 1940s until the collapse of the Soviet Union in December 1991(though actually the Chinese People's Liberation Army may have been bigger at some points).
