Hirbag has been the cook at the Burning Bear Inn - or the Dancing Bear, prior to renaming - for over twelve years. Whilst his qualifications in cooking are suspect, it cannot be denied that Hirbag does, in fact, cook edible food. Only a handful of taverngoers have ever gotten ill from his meals and these can certainly be attributed to nausea from being out in the blizzards for too long. Hirbag is known to quarrel with Tagny Hammerhand regularly, one argument having led to the tavern burning down in Sara Krown's absence.
