Robert Edwin Phillips VC (11 April 1895 – 23 September 1968) was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. He was 21 years old, and a Temporary Lieutenant in the 13th Battalion, The Royal Warwickshire Regiment, British Army, attd. 9th (S) Battalion during the First World War when the following deed took place for which he was awarded the VC. He later achieved the rank of Captain.
