George Edmund Street (20 June 1824-18 December 1881) was an architect. Born in Woodford, he was the son of a solicitor. He originally entered his father's legal firm before beginning architectural training in 1841. He became an fellow of and professor of architecture to the Royal Academy and president of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
