The club played in the Polska Liga Hokejowa annually from 1958 to 1982. They finished as runners-up in the league four times and also recorded three third-place finishes. The early-to-mid-1970s were Baildon's most successful time period. All of their highest finishes came in a span from 1969 to 1977. The closest the club came to winning the championship was in 1974-75, when they finished two points behind Podhale Nowy Targ for first place. Katowice also finished as runners-up in the Polish Cup in 1970 and 1971.
