The Deuce-and-a-Half's commonness in Germany following the end of World War II allowed many Werewolves impersonating Allied personnel to commandeer the trucks. One such loaded its entire 5000-pound capacity bed with TNT and used the explosives to destroy the Palace of Justice in Nuremberg in 1945.
