Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, known as Metroid Prime 2: Dark Echoes(メトロイドプライム2: ダークエコーズMetoroido Puraimu 2: Dāku Ekōzu) in Japan and Korea, is the second Prime game in the Prime trilogy. It is a direct sequel to Metroid Prime, although chronologically, it occurs after Metroid Prime Hunters. It was developed by Retro Studios and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo GameCube. It is the first Metroid game to have a multiplayer feature.
