Cysgodion, or shades, are creatures possessed by powerful Eidolon, augmenting their magical and physical powers and giving them the power of Chwylaeth. Most of the powers of the Eidolon that has possessed the shade are lost upon the entering of the creature’s mind, a process known as Infestamorphosis. The shade Garadrim is known to have become a Cysgodion after being possessed by a powerful wisp.
