The FMF Combat Operations Insignia is a miniature bronze United States Marine Corps emblem that may be awarded for wear on campaign, expeditionary, and service medals and ribbons issued to United States Navy service members attached to and operating with units of the Marine Corps. The insignia may also be awarded for wear by those naval personnel attached to navy units operating with the Marine Corps while under Marine Corps control during combat operations.
