In Alice: Madness Returns, the Card Guards are shambling zombies/skeletons instead of humanoids. Some of them have weapons while others fights with bare hands. There are also some armored Card Guards among the Hearts, and Alice needs to hit the Heart behind the guard in order to destroy it.
