Aeria was a secret Griffon Alliance asteroid military installation, located in deep-space near Cochran. The asteroid was so secret that not even Imperial Intelligence was ever able to locate it, even after the Desolation of Cochran in 14 ABY. Aeria housed a fully-functional command center, barracks, and weapon systems, but was used as a "fall-back" option for the Griffons during time of distress, if their front-line installations were lost. Aeria's fate after the fall of the Alliance is unknown. The New Republic likely seized control of the asteroid for their own purposes.
