A construction bid was awarded to Shawsportexe for more than $759,000 through funding from the Education Institutional Cooperative Purchasing Organization. But a large portion of money for the project will come through an $800,000 donation to the district made by an anonymous individual. Additional revenue for the turf installation also derived from the efforts of baseball, football, and Fox Chapel Hall of Fame boosters.
