Aase Maersk was a 6,184-ton tanker built at Odense Steel Shipyard, Odense in 1930 for A. P. Moller, Copenhagen. During the Second World War, she was managed by the British Ministry of War Transport, and served with the United States Navy, Royal Australian Navy, and Royal Navy. HMAS Geelong collided with Aase Maersk on 11 November 1942. Aase Maersk was returned to her owners in 1945.
