Pata-Bata (パタバタ Patabata?), or Robot Butterfly, is a butterfly-type Badnik model created by Dr. Eggman that first appears in Sonic the Hedgehog CD. Pata-Batas are seen flying around in many places without having any significant attacks. The Hoverby Mk II Badnik of Knuckles' Chaotix are likely related upgrade models, due to their similar features.
