The song was written by John Bettis and Steve Dorff, and most famously performed by country-pop singer B.J. Thomas, both in a solo version, and various duet versions with Jennifer Warnes and Dusty Springfield. The song was part of the "T.V. Medley" on the Family Guy: Live in Vegas CD, performed by Brian and Stewie Griffin.
