Crystal Snakes are elongated non-sapient creatures native to the moon Yavin IV. They have a translucent body, likely to avoid being seen by predators. Crystal Snakes are known to secrete a venom that causes victims to fall asleep for an hour. The venom is probably used for hunting (as it would be easy for the snake to eat a slumbering prey), though it might be used for defense as well.
