Bobby Waddell is a former NASCAR driver from North Wilkesboro, NC. He competed in thirty-seven Nextel Cup Series events in his career, all spanning between 1955-1962. Waddell never raced full-time and as such never produced solid results. His lone top-tens were a pair of ninths in 1961, coming at Hickory Speedway and Greenville-Pickens Speedway. That year he finished a career best 55th place in points, the statistic he matched in 1955. After a struggle throughout his career, only completing 14 of his 37 sevens, Waddell retired following the 1962 season.
