Mourningstar is the sixth full-length album from Garden Grove, CA Industrial Metal band Psoriasiss. Mourningstar "features a darker Heavy Metal sound than previous efforts", according to guitarist Orville Redd. A notable personnel change during the Mourningstar sessions was the departure of Paul Sanders, who was arrested for armed robbery shortly after writing the album's lyrics. In order to finish the album while searching for a permanent replacement on vocals, the band hired The Rebirth Of Hostility frontman Dan Santana.
