Operation 'Purple Rain' was a war in Cyber Nations Tournament Edition in Round 8 between the SOS Brigade, the Aeonic Imperium, and the Global Democratic Alliance on one side and Purple Unity and the Common Defense Treaty on the other. It was declared just prior to the 1 December update. The declaration of war was accompanied by an update blitz ingame, in which a total of 20 offensive wars were declared (prior to update) against Purple Unity by the combined forces of the SOS Brigade and Aeonic Imperium. With the end of Round Eight at the update of 22/23 December, the war was ended.
