Kate Zubkova, Indiana University Zubkova (Kharkov, Ukraine (also known as ) File:Flag of Ukraine.svg) had two wins to help her team win the Big 10 Conference Championships. The junior won the 100 backstroke (51.52, NCAA "A" time, meet, Big 10, and pool records), the 200 backstroke (1:51.45, NCAA "A" time, meet, Big 10, and pool records) and second in the 100 butterfly (52.44, NCAA "B" time). The Olympian also assisted on the winning 400 medley relay (3:31.26, NCAA "A" time meet, Big 10, and pool records), swam to a second place finish in the 200 medley relay (1:36.80, NCAA "A" time), seventh in the 200 freestyle relay (1:31.70, NCAA "B" time) and sixth in the 400 freestyle relay (3:20.40, NCAA "B" time).
