This orchid is a very rare flower. Its only known growing location is the Floating Garden in Gregminster, the Imperial gardens. During the Toran Liberation War, when Windy used her magic to artificially put the dragons of the Dragon Knights to sleep, the great doctor Liukan asked for some Black Dragon Orchid in order to create an antidote to cure them. Upon hearing this, Futch decided to fly there with his dragon Black and get some, but they were surprised by an angry Windy who cast a spell of lightning towards the duo. Stricken, Black fell from the sky and broke Futch's landing, saving his life at the cost of his own.
