Hulme - Stage 3 was built as part of a much wider redevelopment of the Hulme area of Manchester in the late 1960s. Stage 3 (Poynton Cl/ Eden Cl) consisted of eight deck access blocks of 6 storeys containing 355 flats in total. They were built in 1967. Stage 3 South (Arnott Cres) consisted of seven 6 storey deck access blocks containing 188 flats built in 1969. They were demolished as part of the Hulme City Challenge in the mid-1990s and replaced with traditionally built homes.
