The Agent of the Week/Featured Agent feature of the Main Page has had many occupants, and multiple methods of becoming Featured. Prior to 2014, a Featured Agent was an Agent of the Week. They were required to be nominated and seconded, and held the box for a theoretical week - though in some cases, much much longer. In 2014, a new set of standards was written up. Now Featured Agents could stand as long as they went unreplaced, and did not have to go through a nomination process.
