The Varmint is an unlockable bike in Mario Kart 8. It is designed similarly to the Pipe Frame and the Bolt Buggy in Mario Kart 7. It has a yellow body, with black handlebars on its side, and a brown seat, regardless of which character using it. It increases acceleration and handling, but decreases weight and traction. Its stats are identical with the Standard Bike, Flame Rider, Wild Wiggler, W 25 Silver Arrow, Pipe Frame, and City Tripper.
