Akane is upset after she lost to Shampoo in an arm wrestling. She accidentally eats Super Soba that Happosai made to make himself stronger. Akane realizes that she now has super strength and goes to challenge Shampoo again. Shampoo is found in a badminton tournament and Akane steps up as the challenger, with Ranma as the prize.
