This technique is the first technqiue Saphiro Kimza used after learning how to combine the elemental natures of fire and wind to create the explosive Blast Release. It was originally meant as a Fire Release version of the Rasengan. As Saphiro becomes more skilled with the Blast Release nature, his usage of the Palm Cannon becomes wider. For example, he was able to slam two wind spheres into the Nine member Tamao Ehu at once. He is also able to use the sphere to draw heat away from himself and keep warm at the same time, great for evading being tracked.
