depends on which pig noise you are referring too. Some you just hafta pummel before they get off screen. Some have icons that will tell you how to do it. I've found that equipping (when possible) your partner with clothes that give them free star fusions and doing it that way also helps. The sleeping pig you have to close your ds as soon as the battle starts. I've yet to figure out how to kill the pig polka though D:
