Lesley Daine (born 1947 in Blackpool, died 8th March 1991 in Lambeth, London) appeared on Coronation Street as stripper Josie Steel in August 1976, with a return to the programme as Irene Sherratt in December 1985 and March 1986. Her other credits include Within These Walls, Crossroads and Stay Lucky. One of four children, sister Lois also appeared on the programme as Jean Moseley in December 1970 and as militant Mark Brittain Warehouse shop steward Peggy Barton during August and November 1974.
