Melona IV was a planet where it was attacked by the Crystalline Entity in 2368. The planet was at the time getting ready for colonisation by the Federation. The attack stipped all life on the planet and killed two colonists. The surviving colonists were evacuated by the USS Enterprise-D which was assisting in the colonisation project.
