Akodo Ranabe was the father of Akodo Tameko. Tameko had an affair with Bayushi Uchinore, and the two had a son Tsuruchi. Tameko and Tsuruchi were veiwed as the "Shame of the Akodo", and Tameko and Uchinore were assassinated in 1107. Two years later Tsuruchi reclaimed their castle, Kyuden Ashinagabachi, and founded the Wasp Clan.
