Installer (インストーラー Installer?) is the large block enemy in Central Computer (Magna Centipede's Stage) in Mega Man X2 and Mega Man Xtreme 2. They come in grey and purple shades in X2, and blue and red in Xtreme, being the purple and red ones the only ones that can be destroyed. Most of them automatically fall from the ceiling and accumulate on the ground, but some are only activated if Mega Man X is detected by a spotlight, then dashing and trying to crush him. A smart strategy is to wait until they fill the area where they are falling, but special care must be taken with the sliding ones, which may surprise a waiting player. Combining this strategy with their weakness to Silk Shot may represent a good combo to win over this hazard.
