Deeved was a Ketran, Third Officer of the Searcher and a Tropical of Ket. Deeved became second in charge when Toomin went down to explore a watery moon. While no friend of Toomin, he despised Menno, which would keep Menno from betraying Toomin. He was killed and then absorbed by the Father when the Father sunk the Searcher. He was later absorbed by the Ellimist when the Ellimist absorbed the Father.
