Niwt-Rst (the Southern City) rests on the west bank of the Nasun River and serves as the capitol of Lenthinar from Shemu Khamseen to Fath El Nasun. It is the capitol of the southerly Waset region. On the west bank lies the palace, Al Uquor, and the temple complex, Al Karnak, surrounded by the city itself. To the east lies a great necropolis, Niwt-Imn.
