Canaileus Prime is a Federation colony on the edge of the Typhon Expanse and home to nearly 48,000 Federation civilians and Starfleet officers in 2372. Starfleet ordered all available starships to rendezvous at Canaileus Prime to regroup to face the Myhr'an threat as it was believed this planet was the next target of the Myhr'an planet killer. Milami Thall was stationed as one of the engineers on Canaileus Prime in 2372.
