The flash repeating cannon, commonly known as flash cannon or flash blaster, was a weapon mounted on the H-Wing Superiority Fighter and the ARC-270 Starfighter models. They were designed to be relaively low-power cannons, capable of firing dozens of shots a second. The targeting systems took up most of the capacity of the unit, and were precise to the decimeter by rumor. The flash cannon was used to be an effective anti-personnel system that could lay advantage against the formations of Battle Droids that were commonly deployed by MTTs.
