Crossen & Co. purchased an online magazine called The Tridge in 2008 from an anonymous member of the community with plans to turn the popular Web site into a print magazine. The Tridge is an publication that provides unique commentary and perspectives regarding politics, music, culture, fiction, and poetry. A longtime affluent community, Midland boasts a large pool of Ph.D.s, pristine parks, and a general love of the arts. The Tridge continues this unique tradition with its content. The magazine is often referred to as "the New Yorker of Mid-Michigan".
